Hello again! I promise I will get back to some semblance of a blogging schedule here in the near future.
Matt shared a scripture with me recently about grace, and the confidence we can have before a loving Savior who empathizes with us in our shortcomings (brownie points to those of you who can name the reference!).
Sincere interaction is just one example of the many ways Matt uplifts the blogging community, in addition to sharing inspirational stories, spotlighting new bloggers, taking ESL questions, and wearing his struggles with chronic illness on his sleeve.
Thank you for your faith, Matt, and for taking the time to get to know us.
Now for The Rules:
- Repost the #ShareYourPassion logo (above) on your acceptance post.
- Tag the blogger’s site that nominated you.
- Share a bit about your passion(s): what hobbies, outside of blogging, keep you busy in your free time? What would you like to accomplish with these things? How could you use your passion(s) to be a blessing to others and show them the love of God?
- Nominate ten other bloggers and spread the joy!
What am I passionate about?
I include my husband in this, because I always feel cool by association whenever I talk about him. I love to tell everyone we meet that he is an ultra-marathoner, because (although it’s fairly up and coming) many people don’t know such a thing exists.
Suffice it to say, I’ve spent a lot of time hitting the trails since getting married. I’m improving my running, and I would love to participate in more races myself. I also love hiking. I love taking our kids. I love sharing nature and a passion for doing hard things with my family.
Another passion of mine is writing Christian and other heartfelt music. I hope to record my first song in January. I don’t want to be a performer really, but I would love to be able to reach people with words that I feel like God gave me for just such a purpose.
Music actually led me to blogging in some ways; hence, the parable of the talents comes to mind:
My nominees, should they choose to participate, are:
C.D. Anders of The Unnecessary Blog
Deborah of Great is God’s Faithfulness
Jacquie of Joy Cottage
Bhagyashree of Ink and Thoughts
Bridget of Readers Tell No Tales
Fizza of Fizza Reads
Matt of People of His Word
David of Radically Saved
Thanks for reading!
What are some of your passions? We love getting to know you better.
Here’s to using our gifts wisely.
