Each day, laptop and children permitting, I’ll share a prompt that’s been on my mind, and a few of my thoughts.
You are welcome to share your own perspective in the comments, or just journal it out!
What is my perception of, and how do I respond to “failure”?
Notice the air quotes.
Honestly, I believe there’s no such thing. Not because I never “fail” 😅; rather, I believe in failing forward.
This mindset shift may be the single most powerful tool I’ve learned over the last few years.
You know I am all about knowing and loving who you are, and living in alignment with that. Understanding your divine identity brings so much joy, and it builds resilience.
But, that’s just it – filling the measure of your creation starts with your ability to give and receive Grace. It’s all part of the learning process.
So, let’s air it out.
When you “fail” do you go straight to shame? How do you feel when you hear the word “failure”? Do you believe it’s part of a bigger picture? What might that look like from your rock bottom?
I’m not looking for specific answers. Be honest with yourself. Changing your relationship with failure won’t happen overnight, and that’s okay. But awareness and curiosity are a great first step!
