Each day, laptop and children permitting, I’ll share a prompt that’s been on my mind, and a few of my thoughts.
You are welcome to share your own perspective in the comments, or just journal it out!
Someone I can always count on…
Speaking of unconditional love, is there someone that comes to mind when you think of what that looks like? Someone who loves all of you and helps you be your best self at the same time?
Today, and every day, I’m grateful for a loving Savior and Redeemer who lived, and died, and lives again, for you and me.
The greatest comfort to me is that Jesus holds each of us in the palm of His hand. He has a plan, and I trust Him. Like one of my heroes, I don’t know everything, but I know that God loves His children.
He sent His Son for the pharisee, the stranger, the woman taken in adultery, the lost sheep, and the ninety-and-nine. Jesus washed the feet of the man who led Him to the Garden of Gethsemane. He prayed for the guards who cast lots after His raiment while He suffered on the cross.
Even as a baby in a stable, He descended below all things and came to offer us a peace that no one else could.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.John 16:33 (KJV)
As a mother, I also feel immense love and gratitude for Mary and Joseph. What a heart-filled, emotional mission theirs must have been.
I’m so thankful for the reason for the season today, and pray for that same peace to fill your hearts and homes this year.
