#48: More Than Anti-racism || Practice Makes Progress

Introducing a new bonus segment today! …“Practice Makes Progress”.

At least once a month, I’ll share one thing I’m working toward in my own personal growth, even (and especially) when I don’t have it all figured out.

This segment is all about pulling together in the mess, and having conversations about the process, not just the “solution” – because I honestly believe we are stronger together.

Anti-racism is definitely one of those things, but just like we talked about in our latest episode, I sincerely believe that the single greatest action that would change the world is being willing to listen to, and have more empathy for, each other’s stories.

And that’s really all I get into today 🙂

Is this something you’re working on?

I know this one is super personal, and that’s okay. But if you feel up to it, feel free to listen in and share your own thoughts 👇🏽.

  1. I couldn’t agree more. Really listening is the solution to so many problems and issues put world faces. Unfortunately most often than not we listen to speak and not listen to under.

    1. That is so true. That’s something Joe reminds me of all the time – listen to understand. It’s easy to focus on what I want to say next or how I want to be perceived rather than how I can help or what someone else is going through. More often than not, they need that empathy more than anything else! Thanks for sharing Pallavi ❤
